Westchester Group Therapy

Westchester Group Therapy offers effective and affordable therapy in groups, as well as sliding scale individual therapy for children, adolescents and young adults. Our clinicians believe that group therapy can fundamentally improve symptoms and that the warmth and connection found in a group provide transformative opportunities for growth and healing. We also offer individual therapy on weekends and in the evening at affordable rates for clients who need that level of support. Our groups offer concrete skills development, social bonding, and processing of interpersonal patterns and life experiences. We design our groups to meet the particular needs that we learn of through our own practices and our referral network’s recommendations, and we are trained in a range of group interventions, so that our groups can respond to the needs of our clients. We accept referrals from physicians, schools, pediatricians, parents, individual therapists and clinics. If clients need individual therapy, we can offer sliding scale treatment for clients not yet ready for a group or while they wait for a group that meets their needs. We aim to help our clients function better at school, at home, in their family relationships and among their peers, and to feel stronger in their own capacity to cope with stressors and confidently navigate life's challenges, and we aim to make psychotherapy accessible to any family that we can help.
