We enroll members in groups based on the availability of potential clients, including some weekend and evening availability. Please reach out to us to learn more about timing and availability.
If you are interested in a group for yourself or a family member, reach out to one of us through our "contact us" form above, or by phone or email. We will schedule a short phone call to get some basic information and then set up an intake appointment to tell you more about the group, answer your questions, and learn more about your interest in group therapy for yourself or your child.
Yes, we partner with therapists to supplement their individual, couples, or family therapy. We are glad to accept referrals from and collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, neurologists, school counselors and other professionals.
We operate groups out of both of our locations, in the village of Scarsdale and downtown Pleasantville. While most of our group meetings are in person, we will also run some remote Zoom groups, especially if a group decides to continue meeting after the session series has ended.
Our groups are structured to run for 6, 8 or 12 weeks. Groups meet for 1 1/2 hours weekly. We ask participants to attend all sessions after they enroll, as groups work best when members can rely on one another as part of their weekly support network. When possible and if the group is interested, we give group members an option to continue to meet less frequently after the active phase of group meetings has concluded.
